Do high power chargers damage device?
The high AC/DC Power Adapter itself will not directly damage the device, the key is the compatibility of the dc adapter with the device and the way it is used. If the dc power adapter is well matched to the device and the device can effectively control the current and voltage during charging, then the device will not be damaged. When using a high ac dc power adaptor, first make sure it is compatible with your device. Different brands and models of devices may have different requirements for charging power. If the charger power is too high and the device can not withstand, it may cause the battery to overheat or even damage. However, long-term use of adapters that do not match the current of the device will also have an adverse effect on the device:
Device’s overheating
During the charging process of the device, its internal circuit and the battery will generate a certain amount of heat. When using a high-current power adapter, due to the input of more electrical energy, it may aggravate the heating inside the device.
The internal circuit of the device is damaged
The circuit inside the device is designed according to certain current and power specifications. Long-term use of a high-current power adapter may expose electronic components in a circuit to currents beyond their design range.
For example, components such as resistors and capacitors in the circuit may be damaged due to overheating in the case of long-term overcurrent. For some sophisticated electronic equipment, this damage may lead to equipment failure, such as short circuit and other problems.
Reduced battery life
For devices with batteries (such as mobile phones, tablets, flashlights, etc.), if you use a power adapter with high current for a long time, it may cause the battery to overcharge. Overcharging will cause the battery to generate more heat, resulting in battery plate aging, electrolyte drying and other problems, thereby shortening the service life of the battery.
Increased security risks
Overheating of equipment and damage to internal circuits may pose safety risks. Overheating may deform the device shell and even cause a fire. The internal circuit damage may lead to leakage and other conditions.

So in addition to ensuring compatibility, we also need to use high-power chargers correctly. Here are some suggestions:
1. Avoid using the device while charging to reduce battery burden and risk of overheating.
2. When the device is fully charged, unplug the charger in time to avoid overcharging.
3. Check the condition of the charging cable and charger regularly, and replace it in time if it is damaged.
4. Do not use high-power chargers in extreme temperature environments.
